  • My Christmas Day

Christmas is my favorite holiday and day of the year. Every Christmas I wake up with a big smile on my face. I wake up early on Christmas morning because I'm so excited. The first thing I do is run downstairs to the living room where our Christmas tree is standing. It's sparkling with colorful lights and shiny decorations. I feel so happy just looking at it!

Under the tree, I found a big box with my name on it. I see it is from Santa. I tear off the wrapping paper carefully and guess what I find? It's the doll I wished for! I give her a big hug and name her Rosie. I can't wait to play with her all day long.

After opening my presents, I go to the kitchen where my mom is making special Christmas pancakes. They're shaped like snowmen and reindeer! I help her decorate them with chocolate chips for eyes and a cherry for Rudolph's red nose. They look so cute and yummy!

My family sits together at the table and we enjoy our delicious Christmas pancakes. We talk about the things we love about Christmas and share stories. I tell everyone about my new doll and how I want to dress her up in different clothes.

Later in the day, we go to my grandparents' house. We exchange more presents, sing Christmas songs, and have a big meal together. I love spending time with my family, especially on Christmas. It's so much fun!

When it's time to go to bed, I say goodnight to my doll Rosie. I feel so happy and grateful for such an amazing Christmas day. I cuddle under my warm blanket, feeling thankful for all the love and joy I got to share with my family. I can't wait for the next Christmas!
