  • Subjects: Topics or areas of study, often referring to specific academic disciplines or courses.

    Interesting: Attracting attention or curiosity, causing someone to find it engaging or appealing.

    Cafeteria: A place, often in schools or workplaces, where meals are served, and people can choose from a variety of food options.

    Activities: Actions or tasks that people engage in for enjoyment, recreation, or learning, often outside of routine work or study.

    Essay: A short piece of writing that presents an author's perspective on a particular topic, typically expressing their thoughts and opinions.

  • Step 1: Introduce the topic of going to school. Talk about what people usually do on a school day. Introduce words like subjects, recess, projects, etc.  

    Step 2: Have the students discuss the warm-up questions. Ask for some answers after they are done. 

    Step 3: Play the audio. Have your students listen and fill in the missing words in the script. 

    Step 4: Have the students complete the vocabulary worksheet before or after the listening. This will depend on teacher preferences.  

    Step 5: Let the students discuss the discussion questions and elicit answers from them after they are done. You should get them to use the vocabulary in their discussions.   ​
